Cadishead Soldiers Killed and Wounded
News has been received this week by the parents who reside in Hayes Road, Cadishead, that Private Charlie Arstall, Manchester Regiment, has been killed in action. He was one of three brothers serving, two in the Army and one in the Navy. Before enlisting he was employed at the C.W.S. Works, Irlam, where his father, one of Cadishead's most famous medium paced bowlers in the local cricket team years ago is also employed.
